We are aiming to strengthen socio-emotional learning (SEL) in nursery and primary schools across Rwanda, with a strong focus on children’s rights. The Foundation is working to enhance the national curriculum in the domain, raise awareness among key stakeholders, and build partnerships with local and international networks for knowledge exchange. Through our volunteership program, we are engaging passionate individuals to contribute their talents to boost our reach.
We are also building the KIRA Center of Excellence in Social Emotional Learning and creating a practical workshop manual to support SEL in schools. Together, we’re shaping a more compassionate, emotionally intelligent generation.
